Once again this past week we’ve been busy scanning across the internet to find the latest information and Open University courses. This week we have werewolves, volcanoes and the sharing economy. The world of academics is getting somewhat toothier at one British university, which is set to host the UK’s only werewolf conference. As part of its Open Graves, Open Minds series, the University of Hertfordshire’s event hopes to draw some of the UK’s sharpest minds to cast light on some of literature’s sharpest teeth. The ground-breaking three-day event ‘will turn its attention to creatures not strictly undead but which haunt the peripheries of the vampire – werewolves and shapeshifters’, according to the university.
